This is a full account disable for Community Guidelines/Terms violations. You’ll see an on-screen notice at login and an Appeal/Request review option. You can also submit the official disabled-account form if prompted. Learn more. More resources here
B. “Action blocked” / “We limit how often you can do certain things”
This is a temporary rate limit (e.g., follows, DMs, comments). It’s usually time-bound and lifts automatically. Instagram doesn’t publish hard numeric caps; limits vary by account history and behavior.
C. Hacked/compromised
Use Instagram’s hacked-account recovery flow (get a login link, confirm identity, secure the account). Learn more
D. Impersonation or name/image misuse
Report via the official impersonation form. Learn more
E. Content taken down / feature restricted (but account still accessible)
