How to Fix “Incorrect Password” Status on AutoIGDM Pro

Updated this week

Written Guide:

Step 1: Don’t guess, update it properly

If your account shows a status of “Incorrect Password,” it means the password you provided is invalid. Avoid trying to guess it repeatedly — that wastes time and delays activation.

Step 2: Edit your credentials in AutoIGDM

  1. Go to your Accounts section inside AutoIGDM.

  2. Click on the three dots next to the affected account.

  3. Select Edit Credentials.

  4. Update the password field only, leave the rest as-is.

Step 3: Confirm your actual Instagram password

Use a browser on your laptop or desktop (not your phone):

  • Log out of your account

  • Try logging back in manually

💡 Why not your phone?

Because mobile apps often auto-fill or “remember” your password, which might be outdated — making it harder to know if it’s actually correct.

Step 4: Still not working? Reset your password

  • Click Forgot password on Instagram login

  • Follow the email/SMS link to reset it

  • Once updated, copy the new password and paste it into AutoIGDM Pro via Edit Credentials

Step 5: Click “Update Account”

After entering the correct password in AutoIGDM, click Update Account and wait for the system to re-sync. You’ll then see the status change to Warming Up or Active.

🟢 Done! Your account should now be working correctly.
