📤 Send Your First Messages with AutoIGDM
📤 Send Your First Messages with AutoIGDM

Starting to send messages with AutoIGDM is easy and designed to make sure your messages work well and save you time. Here’s how to begin:

Updated over 9 months ago
  1. Select your Audience as described in the previous chapter.

  2. Choose a session tag. This tag helps you keep track of who you messaged during a session in your Backoffice, making it easier to follow up or link them with GHL for better marketing.

  3. Choose your message template. AutoIGDM lets you make many text templates, so you can match your messages to your goals. Remember, you can't use emojis in these templates right now.

  4. If you want to message only new people, turn on the "Only New Leads" option. This makes sure you don't message anyone you've already contacted. If you need to message some users again, just turn this option off.

  5. For direct messages only, tick this box. If it's not ticked, AutoIGDM will follow the user first, which can help with engagement. Just watch out for Instagram's follow limits to avoid problems.

  6. To start messaging, hit the Start button in the extension.

It will open a new browser session in the background. Don't close or use this browser window to avoid mistakes. Make sure pop-ups and clipboard access are allowed in Chrome, and turn off any ad-blockers.

Monitoring Your Campaign

  • Status Screen: See live updates on your campaign, including what's happening and any warnings or errors. The status box's border color changes based on the type of message.

  • Timer: Shows how long until the next message is sent or action is taken.

  • Direct Messages Counter: Counts how many messages you've sent in the current session. This resets for each new session.

  • Followings Counter: Shows how many users you've followed in the current session. This also resets with each new session.

Instagram Outreach Tips

  • Stay within Instagram's limits to avoid being marked as spam.

  • Personalize your messages based on your audience for better engagement.

  • Focus on quality of messages over quantity. Targeted messages are more effective.

  • Follow up with users who didn't respond to your first message to increase visibility and engagement.

Conclusion

Doing well on Instagram takes a smart plan and careful work. By using accounts, hashtags, post URLs, and lists, you can reach the right people. Always tailor your messages, watch how your campaign is doing, and adjust your approach to get the best results.
