To break it down in simple terms: If a campaign is not performing well (reply rate or conversion rate), it is either due to wrong leads or wrong messaging. Assuming your profile is optimized and looks legit.
1. If lead quality is bad
You can determine whether the leads being contacted are low quality by checking your DM inbox. Do the people we are sending DMs to match your target audience?
If they do not, this is where you can start making changes to improve.

2. If lead quality is good, but you are not getting many replies
If the leads being contacted match your target audience, that means the lead quality is not your issue. In this case, there are two reasons for getting no replies:
Your message is bad
In this case, visit the messages section for a full breakdown on writing high-converting outreach messages. Adjust your approach & continue refining until you find what works.
Your account goes into the “hidden requests inbox”
To find out if this is the case, send yourself a DM on another Instagram account, and see if your message goes into “requests”, or into the folder at the bottom “hidden requests”.
If you are in “hidden requests”, we recommend pausing your outreach for 2 weeks before checking whether you are now in the normal “requests”. Alternatively use another IG Account with a good reputation, that does not land in the “hidden request” folder.
