1. Click the menu in the top right corner of your profile in the Instagram app
2. Click on “Accounts Centre”
3. Click on “Password and security”
4. Click on “Two-factor authentication”
5. Select the profile you want to retrieve the secret key for
6. Click on “authentication app”
If you already have an authentication app linked
Turn off two-factor authentication temporarily
7. Make sure you have the "Authy" authentication app, google authenticator, or any other authentication app of your choice installed on your phone.
8. Select “Authentication app” as your security method
9. Copy the Secret Key & paste it into this onboarding form
10. Copy the Secret Key & paste it into the “Authy” app
11. Click “Next” in the Instagram app
12. Copy a 6-digit code from your authenticator app & paste it into Instagram
13. Click “complete”
